Asus Zenfone 3S Max launched at Rs 14,999 in India

Taiwanese handset-maker Asus has launched its new Zenfone 3 variant, the Asus Zenfone 3S Max in India on Tuesday at a price of Rs 14,999. The announcement was made via a webcast.
The Zenfone 3S Max is expected to be available both in online and offline retail stores starting February 7.
In terms of specifications and design, the ZenFone 3S Max sports an aluminium metal body and a fingerprint scanner that’s embedded in the home button at the front.
The ZenFone 3S Max runs Android 7.0 Nougat based ZenUI 3.0, and offers features such as multi-window mode, ZenMotion Touch Gesture, Bluelight filter, and GameGenie. It bears a 5.2-inch HD display that comes with 2.5D contoured edge.
The Zenfone 3S Max comes with a MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage that’s expandable storage via microSD card (up to 2TB). In terms of optics, the Zenfone 3S Max features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED real-tone flash. The rear camera unit has a 5P Largen lens.
The Zenfone 3S Max has a 8-megapixel front shooter. The dual-SIM ZenFone 3S Max (ZC521TL) supports reverse charging capability which means it can act as a power bank for other smartphones.
